Off-Spec & Rejected Ammunition

Off-spec loads. Rejected lots. The rounds nobody else will take.

Manufacturing defects, recalled production runs, out-of-spec loaded rounds — the lots other vendors turn away. Our proprietary popping furnace renders them inert, recovers the brass, lead and copper, and issues a certificate of destruction for every lot.

Recovered & credited

Nothing live is ever melted. Popping happens first, every time.

Loaded rounds can't go into a melt — that's why most recyclers turn them away, and why we designed a furnace built for exactly this. It renders the round inert before any metal is recovered.

What goes in

The lots that get flagged, rejected or recalled

If it's loaded, small-arms, and off-spec, it's what our process was built for.

IN · 01

Manufacturing defects

Off-spec, rejected and recalled loaded rounds — including lots other vendors have turned away.

IN · 02

Rejected production lots

Whole runs pulled at QC. We take the full lot and document its destruction, so it never re-enters the stream.

IN · 03

Surplus & unwanted

Old, mixed, corroded or unidentified small-arms ammunition from ranges and training facilities.

IN · 04

Duds & misfires

Rounds recovered during range cleanup, popped and documented with a certificate of destruction.

How it works

Popped, then melted

01 · SEPARATE

Separate

Loaded rounds are pulled out of the mixed material by hand and by process.

02 · POP

Pop

The rounds are rendered inert in our proprietary popping furnace.

03 · RECOVER

Recover

The brass cases and the lead and copper of the projectiles are recovered from the furnace.

04 · DOCUMENT

Melt & document

The metal goes to our smelter, and you receive our certificate of destruction.

Built for the rounds other vendors decline

Our process was developed specifically for defective loaded ammunition that other vendors would not handle. A few rounds from a sweepings bucket or a full rejected production lot — the path is the same: rendered inert first, then its metal recovered.

Straight answers

What operators ask first

Do you take rounds with manufacturing defects?

Yes. Our process was developed for defective loaded ammunition that other vendors would not handle.

Do I get proof the lot was destroyed?

Yes. Every lot receives our certificate of destruction, so you have a record of where the rounds went.

What calibers do you take?

Small-arms ammunition. Tell us what you have on the form and we'll confirm.

Do you pay for the metal?

The recovered brass, lead and copper has value — credited against the job or paid to you, depending on the volume.

Rejected lot? Send us the details.

We'll take the rounds no one else will.

Tell us what you have — a bucket, a pallet or a full rejected run. We'll confirm the material and walk you through the disposition and the certificate.
